  There Will not be any Super late model races at ( WISCASSET RACEWAY ) in 2010 !!

        Randy and team had an outstanding year at Wiscasset raceway in 2008. It was a cold night for the last race,nerves were on edge of everyone, but the hard , dedicated work that put us in the position to be in title contention the whole season would come through . Randy drove a cautious race and come home as the 2008 , superlate Model Champion at Wiscasset Raceway. Thank You to the whole crew , sponsors& fans we could'nt have done it with out each and everyone of you.

     Randy raced his way toward the front . Was in 4th when he was hit in the rear and spun around in front of the rest of the 21 car field. Alot of other cars wrecked as well as Randy. Because of being involved in the caution randy had to start at the rear, raced back toward the front. Caution come out and another racer not aware of the yellow hit randy and turned him around and again we started at the rear. On the restart after a couple laps 2 cars got into a wreck right in front of him , trying to avoid the wreck he hit cars and cars got hit which ripped the front of the car off , wrecked many body and structural parts but randy being as patient and determined as he is as a driver finished in the 10th position . All of our diehard and Dedicated crew put in several hours and got the car back together . Thank You all so much!!!!

       R.T.R. had another good day at Wiscasset Raceway. Randy started in the 10th position for the heat race and raced his way to the 3rd place finish. This set Randy for a 6th place start for the feature. The race was a rough and furious one and lasted about 2 hours long but Randy stayed out of trouble and had a 4th place finish. The crew as always worked very hard in the pit. Jason was very good on calls on the radio and our (NEW) tire man John has been doing an awesome job !  As always R.T.R. would like all Crew members and Sponsors and all Fans !

        Randy had a good ending to a long day. It all started the night before with ( Randy & Amanda's) Wedding Reception which was a late night for all. Randy got to the track late so Jason scuffed our tires as planned. Glenn was to spot for the first time with T-Bone as Glenn's backup, this all worked out fine. No Heats,Features only which was shortened by 10 laps to 40 laps because of cautions through the day. Randy started the race 16th and finished 3rd  of a 22 car field. With a lot of hard and dedicated work from our Crew and some good spotting from Jason R.T.R. had a good day.                 WE here at Randy Turner Racing would like to thank our CREW,SPONSORS, and Dedicated FANS!

    R.T.R. had a struggling day with early season issues with the car , But with a Hard and Dedicated crew,we had several frantic moment's The team's first real practice was the Heat/Qualifing race which was not bad with a 4th place finish.

   The Feature race Randy started 7th and by the time the checkered flag flew Randy had patiently and cautiously made his way to a 3rd place finish for the team, a real Good finish for a not so Good start of a day thank's to a Very capable Driver and Crew.
